Hi everyone. I’m Tina Gupta M.B.B.S. I am a doctor, coauthor, entrepreneur, businesswoman, researcher, weight loss coach, seeker, and life long learner.

You might be here because you simply stumbled upon an article while scrolling through google or social media which, if that’s the case, let me share with you why you should keep coming back.

As a woman, I know many of us turn to the net to do our research when it comes to our health and wellness and I was no different.

Before entering the world of medicine I sought the answers about my excruciating cramps, PMS, and even which birth control pills to take to alleviate the pain. At the time, I struggled to find the right answers. It was only after becoming a healthcare professional that I realized how much information was truly lacking and/or not mainstream enough.

For example, why don’t all females in the reproductive age group (15-49) know that they should be advised on taking certain supplements during their wellness visits? And this should be discussed regardless of whether you are contemplating becoming pregnant?

According to me, this, along with other women’s health issues should be common knowledge and not require a medical degree, but unfortunately it’s not.

We as women have spent decades upon decades relying on research studies based on a male populations to tell us about our health.

So many (if not all) experiments, studies, and research results are based on a male population. It is then assumed that these same results can be extrapolated to women; all while knowing that that doesn’t even make sense.

Now as far as reproductive studies and research is concerned, yes women are obviously the studied population. However the problem is that the range and scope of these studies is not varied enough. It’s not exhaustive enough. It’s not inclusive enough. We just make do with the statements like, “not alot is known about this” or “research is still being conducted on this topic.”

I know you’ve come across these types of answers too, which is frustrating.  So, I wanted to change all of that.

By using my medical knowledge, years of personal and professional research, and my passion for women’s health and beauty I want to help my fellow sisters by a platform that has the answers. WHA – my labor of love – is just that.

Let Women’s Health & Aesthetics be the one place where you can confidently obtain information, knowledge, and the latest technology and treatments specifically, for women.

Women’s Health & Aesthetics (WHA) mission is to provide all women with easily accessible, scientifically-backed and researched information in regard to their reproductive health, skin care and beauty.

My personal mission is to make women’s health information readily available so that you and other women don’t have to suffer the way I did for so many years.

I hope to empower you.

M.B.B.S., BSc, ACE Certified Weight Loss Expert

Hi, my name is Dr. Naveen Gupta. I am a physician entrepreneur, co-founder of the online platforms The Lifestyle Cure and Women’s Health and Aesthetics, coauthor of the book SMART & Skinny Habits and a Weight Loss Coach.

As a little girl, I recall many female health topics that were too taboo to openly discuss. Because of this early on, I developed a sense of shame around my body.  Reproductive health and aesthetics were those issues which I tip-toed around, not knowing who to turn to as I felt uncomfortable bringing up my personal issues, which then left me with no solution.

I stumbled along my adolescent and young adult years trying to navigate the world of “being a woman” and the only source I had was society’s portrayal of women’s health and aesthetics which only later, as I entered healthcare, it was revealed to me was not the truth.

We women are very unique which means we have unique problems. Being told that our bodies are all the same and should behave the same sets us up for failure.

Because each decade for women’s health and aesthetics is different from the last, I wanted to create a space where women can feel proud and knowledgeable throughout their lifespan.

As a female with a health and wellness background, I feel a sense of responsibility to share with other women, health information which otherwise seems limited online. A trusted source with research driven facts that pertains specifically to women’s reproductive health and beauty.

I hope to help guide you along your health journey so you feel amazing, beautiful and healthy throughout.
